Founded in 2000 by Mr. Xinke Du, Landy (Guangzhou) Plastic Products Co., Ltd. is headquartered in Nansha, Guangzhou, a national-level free trade zone. As an industry corporation with business in product research and development, production, sales and service, Landy owns two factories, one 16,000-square-meter factory in Guangzhou and another 42,000-square-meter branch in Yangjiang.

“Everyone is an operator” Landy Shi, the founder, and CEO Landy quoted; Explaining his business philosophy in the corporate forum. The business symposium discussed how to succeed in business operations. Every week, Landy Shi invites different companies and entrepreneurs to discuss their journeys and business stories where intern students can understand the conditions required for successful operation and apply them to project work. The operating project that intern students will participate in this year is a new type of swimming pool PVC waterproof lining, called a pool liner.

The Landy brand was co-founded by the Landy Shi couple. In the beginning, Landy was just a team of several people. Today, Landy has more than 150 employees in Nansha and Yangjiang, Guangdong. Landy’s income today has reached 8-digit numbers and has grown over 200% in the past 24 months.

“When I started my business in 2000, the most powerful tools I had were technology and an entrepreneurial spirit,” Landy Shi said. “This sets me apart from my competitors and opens the way for accelerated growth.”

Landy Shi studied polymer materials at the university. She was a physics teacher in high school and has active thinking skills. She focused on the research of PE, PP, PVC. “Now, every product developer knows about deep learning-but only a few labs were working on it at the time. This is how I lead.”

Landy Shi also cooperated with the professional laboratory of South China University of Technology to test various quality data of the product, such as the applicable temperature range of PVC swimming pool film. “This field is not very cool, but it is a real example of my obsession with technology.”

From the initial swimming pool insulation products to the automatic cover of the swimming pool at the back, Landy Shi participated in every project, personally developing, testing, and even the product packaging is accomplished.
